Protest greets gay-marriage opponent writing Superman story
Wed Feb 13, 2013
So it is ok for the people who don't like GLBT to ask that Ellen Degeneres not be a spokes person for JC Penney but it isn't ok for the GLBT group to ask that Card not write for DC Comics.
Boy, 7, spreads message for suicidal soldiers: 'Ask for help'
Thu Feb 7, 2013
It is sad that the answer to complex mental health issues is to send a note that says "ask for help". While a heart warming story, this does nothing to address the real root of the issue. NBC should be running stories that address the issues and real solutions to this.
High school teacher suspended for 'fat butt Michelle Obama' remark
Tue Feb 5, 2013
Actually, this report doesn't include all of the comments that were directed at Mrs. Obama. Not only was she called fat but the teacher included a racist slur of gorilla. So I am sure the combined racists and anti-gay comments landed this gentleman where he is at.
Husbands who do 'her' chores have less sex, study finds
Wed Jan 30, 2013
This is self reported by the couples having sex. Maybe the more traditional men just lied on how often they had sex because they felt they had to prove manliness. It is also 20 year old data which was taken in Spain which has also had much more macho culture than the United States.
Southwest fliers can board early -- for $40
Tue Jan 22, 2013
This is an optional fee if you want to board early since you have boarding pass C60. You do not have to pay the fee if you don't want to. I don't see why everyone is still upset. They are still among the best airlines: no baggage fee, they still serve snacks and they have leg room and head room.
Black Friday door-buster deals worth camping out for
Mon Nov 19, 2012
Perhaps these people would be better spending their vacation time with their families than trying to camp out for deal. This just puts pressure on the retailers to open earlier and earlier on Thanksgiving and not allow their employees time off with their own families.
FDA wanted to close Mass. pharmacy in 2002, report says
Tue Nov 13, 2012
The FDA ddoes not regulate compounding pharmacies so they didn't look the other way they just had no authority to close it down. The state must do that. The real question is why the Massachusetts didn't shut them down.
Target employees protest over Thanksgiving shifts
Tue Nov 13, 2012
I am disappointed at the scrooges out there who seem to have no heart and just tell me people to lump for asking for some guaranteed time to spend with their families.
Man who admitted jamming cell phones: 'A lot of people are extremely loud'
Thu Mar 1, 2012
I have read all these comments about cheering this guy on but my questions to all of you is why is ok for a person to take the law into their own hands? Because you agree with this person is fine, but what if somebody did something else, like slashing tires because of people who are improperly par …
Under fire, Komen CEO denies politics in Planned Parenthood cuts
Thu Feb 2, 2012
This isn't a question of funding religious charities it is a question of assuring that women who do not have aqueduct insurance receive well women care. I know I was one of these women after I finished my graduate degree and my first job had limited insurance.

Boy nearly suspensed over tiny toy gun: Was it reasonable?
Yes. The school rules were clear. No toy guns allowed.
This extreme demonstrates how silly it is when we try to legislate safety in such manor. No mater the common sense-it is the rule.
